Electro-Active is thrilled to receive funding from BEAM Circular to advance its goals in the Central Valley region of California. This project will support a collaboration with Gallo Winery to pilot our waste to value technology. We will also explore partnerships with local partners, City/County leaders and farmers to support co-product development.
Electro-Active wins funding from the state of NY to support use of its soil additive derived from food waste for urban cooling and mitigation of climate change. This project will support NYC and other urban areas in tackling urban heat islands via installation of mini-forests. Other benefits include organics diversion from landfills, reduced GHG emissions due to local waste management, increased biodiversity via urban greening, pollution control, carbon dioxide assimilation, runoff reduction, human health including mental health benefits, community interaction improvement, etc. Learn More.
We are teaming with NYC Parks, Natural Areas Conservancy, Bronx College, Brooklyn College, SUNY, NY Restoration project, Natural Urban Forests, NY Town-Gown, The Lenape Group, IDig2Learn, and others to execute on Phase II work.
Electro-Active selected in the first cohort of BEAM Circular program to advance the biomanufacturing in the Central Valley (specifically NSJV) region. We are thrilled to engage with the region producing the ‘Breadbasket of America’ to bring circularity into the Food/Ag value chain and generate clean hydrogen and green fertilizer from biowaste.
